Violet Cauchi

Violet Cauchi, a resident of Westland, passed from this life on April 14, 2021, at the age of 89. Violet was the beloved wife of the late John, and the loving mother of Albert (Marian Tuljus), Gracey, and Bernadette (Cameron) Lachine. She was the cherished grandmother of Alexandra and John Lachine. Violet was the dear sister of Joseph (Lourdes) Phillips, Doris Galea, and Margaret (Carmel) Bonnici. She was preceded in death by siblings Robert Phillips, James Phillips, Harry Phillips, Carmen Clotworthy and Charles Phillips. She will be resting at the L.J. Griffin Funeral Home, 7707 Middlelbelt Rd. (S. of Ann Arbor Trail) on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Violet will lie instate at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at St. Richard Catholic Church, 35851 Cherry Hill Rd. (W. of Wayne Rd) until the time of her funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Her final resting place will be Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
