Patrick John “PJ” Driscoll

Patrick John (PJ) Driscoll (7-5-64 – 2-28-24) passed away after a 4-month battle with cancer. He was the 11th and youngest child of the late Warren and Mary Ellon Driscoll. He is survived by his loving wife, Joanie, dearest son, Kevin, seven brothers (two in heaven), three sisters, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends too numerous to count.

PJ grew up in the “cabbage patch” of Grosse Pointe Park, and lived his adult life in Dearborn and Wyandotte. He loved his family, friends, good food, beer, and sports (not necessarily in that order). Closest to his heart was the University of Michigan. He was rarely seen in anything but maze and blue. He loved a good time, which usually involved the Detroit Tigers, the Red Wings, U of M football, playing softball or hockey. He was blessed with extraordinary friends who stepped up to assist in difficult times with generous support of every kind. The steady stream of visitors during his illness is a testament to the kindness, thoughtfulness, and compassion of all his pals. For this, his family will be forever grateful.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 3:00-9:00 pm, and on Monday, March 4th from 10:00-11:00 am. A prayer service will begin at 11:00, followed by burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, and a luncheon at the Polish Roman Catholic Union (PRCU).
