Rev. Thomas H. Cusick

Obituary Rev. Thomas H. Cusick, Age 83, died January 2, 2022. He was born August 20, 1938 in Detroit, MI to Dr. Paul and Mary Jane Cusick (nee Howe). Fr. Tom grew up in the Gesu neighborhood of Detroit, and graduated from the University of Detroit Jesuit High School before entering the Sacred Heart Major Seminary. Fr. Tom served multiple Detroit-area parishes. He was the retired pastor of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Belleville, MI, where he served for over 30 years. He was also the Parochial Vicar at St. Christopher Parish, St. Robert Bellarmine Parish and Epiphany Parish. Fr. Tom was the brother of Charles (Nancy) and the late Paul. Brother-in-law of Noreen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his dear friend, Mary Eileen Almas. Funeral Mass Friday January 7, 2022, 11:00am at Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 9844 Woodward Ave., Detroit, 48202. Visitation at church begins 10:00am. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial tributes to Sacred Heart Major Seminary and University of Detroit Jesuit High School.
