Paz Gonzalez was born on January 30, 1932 in Wallis, Texas to Ramon and Candelaria Rodriguez. Paz, who resided in Southgate, Michigan, passed away on March 5, 2024 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Benito. Loving mother of Juanita (Rafael) Gutierrez, Yolanda (Carlos) Murillo, the late Ramon Gonzalez, and Sylvia (Scott) Muldoon. Dearest grandmother of Robert, Rafael, Lisa, and Mary Anne. Loving great-grandmother of Adriano, Rafael Jr., Marco, Crystian, Mia, and Max. Paz was preceded in death by her parents Ramon and Candelaria Rodriguez. Paz will be deeply missed by family and friends. Visitation Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 2:00- 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. rosary service at the Allen Park Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 5900 Allen Rd. (313) 928-2300. In state Friday 10:00 a.m. with a 10:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection to follow at Basilica of Ste. Anne de Detroit, 1000 Ste. Anne Street, Detroit. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
