Jim was born into eternal life on Saturday, April 20, 2024 atthe age of 51. He is survived by his beloved wife Julie, their 3 sons, Patrick (23), Liam(17), and Braden (16), his father Kenneth, twin brotherJoe, brother Ken, brother Kevin (Tammy),sister Kathleen, brother-in-lawJeff (Kerry), nieces and nephews Jessica, Brooke,Julia,Jack, Drew, Karly, and Justin.Jimis preceded in death by his belovedmother Sheila, his grandparents Joseph and RoseMcGuckin and Raymond and Sophie Bazner, his mother-in-lawJanell Madden, brother-in-lawJeff Gaynier, andmany other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jimwas an ultimate familyman. Everything he did was to serve, protect, and provide for his family.Jimmet his wife Julie in high school and they were blessed with 26 years of marriage. During this time, they traveled and lived abroad in England and then returned back to Trenton where they would settle in to raise their three sons.Jimwas such a proud father and he cherished everymomentwith each of them. He especially loved their times together playing golf, fishing, and watching themgrowup playing hockey, basketball, and baseball through the years. Jimhad a very distinguished 27 yearcareer as a global automotive executive. He had a long list of professional accomplishments and hewas always very wellrespected by his peers. He also served as a Board Member for Dearborn Federal CreditUnion and for the JuvenileDiabetes Research Foundation.Jimwas actively involved in hiscommunity throughoutthe years as a member of the Trenton Rotary Club, former President of the Trenton Hockey Association, and he was also a former Councilman for the City of Rockwood, Michigan. Jimwas extremely passionate about his Irish heritage. He followed closely in his mother Sheila’s footsteps with his love of Ireland and especially Irishmusic. He visited Irelandmany times throughout his life and he cherished the very close connection he had with his many Irish relatives. Jimwas a natural born leader. His passion for leadership and serving others was the driving force behind everything he accomplished in his life. He left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing himwith hischarming personality,competitive spirit,strong will, generous heart,contagious laugh, and his beautifulsmile. Jimleaves behind a tremendous legacy of faith, family, and friendship thatwillcontinue on for generations yetto come. He poured his heart and soul into everything that he did and he leftthis world in the same givingmanor by becoming an organ donor and helping to give others the precious gift of life.Jimwill be sorelymissed by all but never forgotten.
