Carol Ann Waldecker, age 84, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 18, 2023.Carol was born in East Orange, NJ, April 12, 1938, the daughter of the late Helen and James O’Donnell.Carol loved playing bridge with her friends and traveling. She and her husband, Dave, lived near water, prompting them to be avid boaters and she enjoyed being near the water as much as she could. The two also enjoyed long rides on his motorcycle. Carol was an active member of St Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marine City, MI.Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Arthur David Waldecker, know as “Dave”. She was beloved mother of Allan Anderson (Jane), Beth Wojcik (Mike) and Eric Anderson (Alicea), and step-mother of Lynda Waldecker, David Waldecker, Jr., and Mark Waldecker; cherished grandmother of Andy Anderson (Estefy), Laurel Anderson, Lukas Anderson, Noah Wojcik, Collin Wojcik, Marieke Anderson and Trevor Waldecker, and great-grandmother of Arya Anderson.Carol’s family will not be having any services for her at this time. A graveside ceremony will be held, Saturday, May 6, 10:30am, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, where Carol and Dave will be interred together.
