With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jane Smith (Novi, Michigan), who passed away on January 23, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Birosh and John Birosh; and her sister Marge Bellus (Joseph). She is survived by : her spouse Byrl; her children, Larry (Cheryl), Steve (Dana), David (Amy) and Laura Kuhnert (Rob); her grandchildren, Lauren, Joseph, Stephanie, Daniel, Adam, Eric, Coleman, Violet, Sarah and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Benjamin and Thomas; and her sister Eleanor Forish (late Edward).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26th 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Brien Sullivan Funeral Home (41555 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48375). A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 26th 2023 at 7:00 PM at the O'Brien/sullivan Funeral Home (41555 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48375). The lying in state will be held on Friday, January 27th 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of the Transfiguration (25225 Code Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 27th 2023 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
