Eunice “Niecy” Amison

Eunice Amison, 81, passed away peacefully in her home on December 25, 2022, at 8:34 a.m. Eunice, was born on August 23, 1941, in Forest City, Arkansas. She was the youngest of 6 children born to Grady L. and Druscilla Manson (Davis) Moore.

The Family moved to Monroe Michigan in 1953. There, Eunice attended Monroe High School. After high school, she married Willie Myles and to their union was born a son Gregory Miles, on October 8, 1961.

She remarried Jesse Elmore Amison, in 1986. Together they adopted seven 7 children, Cierra Amison, Jalessa Amison, Daisy Amison, Johnika Belcher, Thomas Amison, Christopher Amison, and Gregory Amison. Eunice worked at Good Year Tire for 25 years. After 25 years of service at Good Year Tire, she retired to become a full time stay at home mom to her 7 children whom she loved and cherished dearly.

After the death of her husband Jesse, she remarried Wilbert Brown Jr. on August 23, 2015. Junior immediately stepped into the role of loving step-father, and together they continued to raise their 7 children.

Eunice loved shopping, reading books, and doing cross word puzzles; But most importantly she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory her 4 loving daughters, Cierra Amison, Jalessa Amison, Daisy Amison, and Johnika Belcher; 3 sons, Thomas Amison, Christopher Amison, and Gregory Amison; 12 grand children Tierra Liddell, RoSean Hall, Essence Smith, Emery Amison, Tyrin Liddell, Torrez Adams, Kamoura Williams, Alexis Harris, Thomas Jr. Jeremy Profit, Chloe Amison Antonio Amison, and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
