Sarah Ann Audette

Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday August 22, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born September 24, 1937 to Joseph Albert and Ann Veronica Hanser (nee Queen) who predeceased her.

Beloved Mother of Michael (Debra) Ciak, Christopher (Tammy) Ciak, Kevin Ciak, Peter (Charmaine) Ciak, Gary (JoAnn) Ciak, and Stacey Vallance. She was the Grandmother of 17 and the Great Grandmother of 19. She was also predeceased by two sons, David and Thomas Ciak, her two brothers, Albert Steven and Peter Hanser, and three husbands, Raymond Ciak, Donald Love, and Robert Audette.

She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Michaels Parish in Livonia, a devoted Detroit Tigers fan, as well as an avid reader who’s kindle was always full of books waiting to be read. She loved country music and anything by Frank Sinatra, and if possible would watch Tom Sellick (Blue Bloods) all day long. As her illness made her world smaller and smaller she never complained and took comfort in the love of her family.

In lieu of flowers she would have liked for you to check in on someone you miss, call that friend you haven’t seen for a very long time, take a walk in the woods, or make that lemon meringue pie that she loved so much and share it with those you love. A private memorial service and celebration will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Michigan at a later date.
