William LaVoy May 23. 1934 - December 5, 2021. Retired Monroe County 38th Circuit Judge William F. LaVoy, known for his fairness, honesty and thoroughness while serving on the bench for almost 20 year, died quietly on December 5, 2021. He was 87.He had been in declining health since March. Mass of Resurrection will take place at St. Michael the Archangel on Thursday, December 16 at 11:00 AM. The Church is located at 502 West Front Street, Monroe, Michigan. Entombment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, 909 N. Monroe, St, Monroe, MI., immediately following.
