Pamela “Parmina” Rose Ciacelli, 91 years old, cherished soul, passed away on December 7, 2025 at ProMedica Regional Hospital Toledo, Ohio. Born on September 12, 1934 in Monroe, Michigan to Christ Basile and Mary (Lombardo) Basile. Pamela married the love of her life Richard J Ciacelli, Sr. on June 26, 1954. Sadly, he preceded her in death on August 8, 2005. Pamela was a lifelong resident of Monroe, Michigan. Pamela was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Pamela lived a life of purpose and devotion to her family as a homemaker. Pamela’s home was always filled with music and the smells of homemade sauce and baking Italian cookies. As a true Italian, food was a love language for her, and she took great pleasure in sharing a meal with others. Pamela never met a stranger and will be remembered lovingly for contagious laughter and smile. Pamela is survived by her sister Antoinette Basile, daughters, Paula J. Ciacelli, Deanne Ciacelli and Kerry Ann (Robert) Wentz and daughter-in-law Dorothy Ciacelli, along with grandchildren Garrison (Amy) Diehl, Katie (Rich) Spencer, Gina (Tim) Roberts, Teresa Ciacelli, Breanna Ciacelli, Carson Jones, Brice Jones, Michael Wentz and Thomas Wentz and her beloved dog, Mandy. Pamela was also blessed with great grandchildren, Nick, Luke, Ellie, Audie, Gianna, Liam, Levi and Maisey. In addition to her husband and parents, Pamela is preceded in death by her children, Richard Ciacelli Jr., Mary Ann Diehl, and Patrick Ciacelli; siblings, Madeline Miller and Patrick Basile. Together now they share peace that Pamela has so sincerely earned. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, where a sharing on memories will begin at 3 p.m. She will lie instate at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church with a Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. Rev. David Burgard, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe.
