Marjorie Ann Blick

MARJORIE ANN BLICK, 78 years old from Lathrup Village, Michigan, passed away on January 12, 2023 at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was the daughter of the late David James and Stasia Blick. Marj graduated from the Edwin O. Smith High School in Storrs, CT and then from Bucknell University with a major in biology. She earned her MD in radiology at the University of Michigan Medical School. Marj was an avid birdwatcher, reader, and needlecraft artist. She completed many beautiful embroidered, knitted, and crocheted projects. Over the years she also enjoyed the companionship of many parakeets and German Shepherds, most recently sharing her home with Squawk, Sadie, and then Maya. Marj is survived by a sister Mary and her husband Heinz from Connecticut; a brother Jim, his wife Sharon, and niece Selena from Oregon; and by Eric, her special friend and recent caregiver. Marj was recently predeceased by her partner Jay with whom she had shared a life together ever since they met in medical school. There will be no funeral. Any donations in Marj's memory may be made to the Michigan Audubon Society or to the animal welfare group of your choice.
