Mary R. Toal, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024 at the age of 82. Born on February 1, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, Mary was the daughter of the late John and Marjorie Donohue.
A devoted mother, Mary leaves behind cherished memories for her children Stacy (Ken) Stanecki, Maureen (Scott) Franklin, and Matthew (Michelle) Toal. She was also a loving grandmother to Andrew (Kate) Stanecki, Claire (Matt) Byrne, Brenna Stanecki (Calvin Hutchins), Cameron (Lauren) Franklin, Connor Franklin, Miranda Toal, Madeline Toal, and Matthew Toal, Jr., as well as her dear great-grandchildren Stella, Rowan, and Charlie. Mary was preceded in death by her sister, the late Theresa (the late Bill) Delling, but their bond remains eternal in memory.
Mary had a special affection for the color red, and in her honor, attendees are invited to wear something red to celebrate her vibrant life and enduring legacy. Though she may be gone, Mary's warmth, kindness, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
