James Edward Barkai

James E. Barkai, formerly of Lincoln Park, passed away on April 11, 2021 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Virginia Schrage Barkai. Loving father of James G. Barkai; grandfather of Preston Barkai; father-in-law of Kenisa Barkai; brother of Roy "Joe" Barkai, Stephen Barkai, Judith Bell, Anne Coffman, John Barkai, Kenneth Barkai and Gerald Barkai; brother-in-law of Gary Rensi. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. Jim was a member of Mello's doo wop group and has been retired from Chrysler after 42 years.
