EDWARD'S OBITUARY U.S. Veteran Edward R. Polak, a resident of Westland, passed from this life on March 1, 2022, at the age of 75. Edward was the beloved husband of Donna for 42 years. He was the loving father of Amy (Toby) Klingler. Edward was the dear brother of Annette Smith and brother-in-law of Shirley (Sal) Corrado. He was the cherished uncle of Alexandria Corrado and Steve, Mark and Matthew Smith. He will be resting at the L.J. Griffin Funeral Home, 7707 Middlebelt Road (S of Ann Arbor Trail), on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Edward's funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2022 from the Griffin Chapel. His final resting place will be Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to U.S. Navy Veterans.
