Delia LaPointe

Delia “Cookie” LaPointe, 89, was born April 6, 1933 in Three Rivers, Texas, passed away January 3, 2023 after a brief illness. Her husband, Dick precedes her in death, as do her children Tommy and Butch. She is survived by her children, Guy Allen, Denise Smith, Dino Duran and Lorraine Putek and grandchildren, Eric, Elissa, Christine, Lisa, Julian and Vanessa and great-grand children Hunter, Ryan, Tessa, Logan, Taylor, Julian IV, Connor and Kayleigh. She is also survived by her sisters, Stella and Dora and brother Danny Sr.

Cookie was a happy and loving person. She loved to play shuffleboard, bingo, betting on the horses and playing Mexican Train. She was quite the pool shark. Cookie will be missed greatly by all that knew her. She lived in Michigan most of her life and lastly resided with her son Guy and daughter-in-law Vicki in Phoenix, AZ.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11th at 11am at Chapel of the Chime Mortuary 7924 N. 59th Ave Glendale, Arizona, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12pm. A Reception at Max's Sports Bar 6727 N. 47th Ave Glendale, at 2pm. Inurnment will be at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown, Michigan
