Eddie E. Pickens

Eddie Pickens "Buddy" of Melvindale, passed away on April 28, 2021 at the age of 66. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth Pickens; and by his wife, Bridget Pickens. He is survived by his children, Jennifer Pickens Locklear and Sabrina Pickens; by his grandchildren Meghan, Isabella, Jenna, Caroline, Anakin, Ainsley and Ryder; by is brother Kenneth (Juanita) Pickens; by his sister Carol (Tammy) Pickens; and by the mother of his children, Wanda Dial.
Buddy was a man of true integrity and strength. He was quiet, humble and kind. His circle was small, but tightly-knit. He retired from General Motors after more than 30 years, he had a passion for bass fishing and music, especially classic rock. His little family loved him immeasurably and we will miss him with a deep ache-until we meet again. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the caring nurses and clinical staff at Lincoln Park Kidney Center.
